Victorian Luke

So this one was a special-case help-out for a friend. They're making a Victorian style glass art frame (where they print the silhouette on the backside of the glass, then have the background painting behind it) based around A New Hope. After some talking I decided to take the following approach ...
- Given that silhouettes were originally done off the cast shadow of the subject, I reluctantly decided to work directly off a movie-frame of Luke gazing into the sunset. I still had to do a lot of interpretation regarding shadow placement and drawing in his legs, but still negative points for the method (le sigh).
- The background was done by hand off a reference. Colors were grabbed from the film, but everything else was sorted out by hand (obvious rearrangement, and some physics accuracy omitted for style points).

Anyhoo, I'm fairly happy with it. Can't wait to see the physical results after she makes it.
