The Demon Rifle

combination of a few things, I actually took most inspiration from the legends surrounding the Muramasa blades and translated it to Europe.
Thing is, ya have to do more digging to find it ... but there's actually questionably cursed weapons in modern days as well. Largely these are for city museums, and most of them carry an amount of shame which inhibits widespread talk ... but you'll find weapons that end up being used for murder in the hands of different owners.

Any rate ...
This guy weilds the Demon Rifle, and that's the demon whose rifle it is. The rifle can't be holstered until it sheds blood.

I'll likely develop this further down the line.
